Cultural institutions cannot thrive without the power of community.

Brannan Center has received broad support from the Calistoga community and beyond, including town leaders, numerous private donors, the Community Presbyterian Church, and Calistoga Rotary Foundation. Organizations such as the Santa Rosa Symphony, Napa Valley Community Foundation, Napa Valley Education Foundation, Calistoga Joint Unified School District, and Soroptimist of Calistoga also have celebrated our cause.

“The Green Church has always been a very important place for the community. For many years it has served as a place for the Latino community to receive education — English as a second language classes, nutrition education, etc. I believe that now as the Brannan Center it will be a place where the entire Calistoga community can benefit and come together, whether to enjoy an artistic event or to celebrate that we all live in this unique community that is Calistoga. We look forward to the opening with great pleasure!”

Edward Kozel

Co-Founder, Brannan Center

"My passion for the Brannan Center is to improve the lives of Calistoga youth.  Surrounded by hills on three sides, and the long agricultural Napa Valley to the south, Calistoga is a paradise for adults but a transportation, financial, and cultural desert for its youth. An active community and performing arts center will offer our youth opportunities to connect with the larger world outside the Napa Valley and develop the self confidence necessary for higher education. Investing in cultural experiences ensures a healthy, educated, and thriving larger community. Those same experiences will be on offer to all, but my personal focus is on Calistoga’s youth.”

Dr. Audra Pittman

Superintendent, Calistoga

Joint Unified School District

"Our district couldn’t be more excited about what Brannan Center will bring to the youth of our community. The venue will offer new exposure to multicultural performing arts and educational programming that our district couldn’t otherwise provide. Our partnership with Brannan Center will also give students a space to showcase their own talents to the entire community in an exceptional, state-of-the art facility. We are all anxiously awaiting the opening!"

Ambassadors

At the inception of the project, we chose to solicit advice, assistance, and outreach from every segment of the UpValley population. Today, more than 75 Ambassadors represent the project to the broad community, ensuring real representation of interests and enduring support.

“The burgeoning arts landscape in Napa Valley is a mixed blessing. While the number of opportunities to hear music, experience theater, and catch a rare dance performance has grown, the logistics of renting a professionally managed, technically equipped space in which to present live performances has become more challenging than ever… The Brannan Center is a hopeful prospect.”
