Born and raised in Calistoga, Marcela Rodriguez has a deep connection to the UpValley community and a passion for bringing people together. Having grown up in the community she now serves, Marcela understands firsthand the importance of creating spaces where young people and families feel welcomed, connected, and supported. Marcela has spent her career working alongside youth, families, schools, and community partners throughout the Napa Valley. Her experience includes youth development, family support, community engagement, mentoring, prevention programming, and building partnerships between schools and local organizations. At the heart of her work is a belief that strong communities are built through relationships and that every young person deserves to feel like they belong. As the Brannan Center School & Community Liaison, Marcela is excited to help strengthen connections between the Center, local schools, youth, families, and community partners and help ensure the Brannan Center continues to be a place where community can come together.
