With more than 11,000 square feet of multi-purpose indoor and outdoor space, Brannan Center is a flexible, state-of-the-art venue for all types of events. From meetings and classes to rehearsals and performances to weddings, quinceañeras, and private parties, Brannan Center has a variety of spaces that are perfectly suited for everything from a 10-person meeting up to a multi-room conference or festival welcoming 200+ attendees.

Spaces

* Capacities for each space vary by seating arrangement. Most capacities listed below reflect the maximum occupancy without furniture and equipment, and actual capacity may be lower depending on your event set-up.

Kozel Hall

1550 square feet (stage and audience area)
Max capacity ranges from 109 - 168, depending on set-up.

Kozel Hall sits within the original 150-year-old sanctuary of the former church. With its 18-foot ceiling of original old-growth clear redwood, original gothic window openings, and original white oak floors, the hall retains its historic grace while incorporating a state-of-the-art audio visual system, designed by Walters Storyk Design Group of New York (Jazz at Lincoln Center). Kozel Hall is a flexible event space perfect for performances, large meetings, conferences, weddings, quinceañeras, and more. Capacity of this Hall can be increased by utilizing the adjacent Upper Hall as a mezzanine space for additional seating or standing room.

Upper Hall

1272  square feet (stage and audience area)
Max capacity ranges from 100 - 150, depending on set-up.

Located directly behind Kozel Hall at a mezzanine level is a second event/performance space. The Upper Hall provides an intimate stage behind a proscenium arch elevated three feet above the audience floor. Ideal for small performances, lectures, or classes, the Upper Hall also features a state-of-the-art audio visual system.

Conference Room

393 square feet
Up to 26 guests, depending on set-up.

Equipped with a flat-screen monitor, internet capability, and integrated sound system, as well as a buffet counter with sink, this is the ideal space for small meetings, classes or receptions, or as an auxiliary space for larger meetings and events.

Cellar Room

1163 square feet
Up to 100 guests, depending on set-up.

The Cellar Hall is a versatile, multifunction room ideal for community activities requiring a large, flexible open space. The Cellar Room comes equipped with a flat-screen monitor, internet capability, integrated sound system, a cork floor perfect for exercise or dance classes, and also has direct access to the adjacent Rosie’s Kitchen.

Courtyard Room

432 square feet
Up to 29 guests, depending on set-up.

Equipped with a flat-screen monitor, internet capability, and integrated sound system, this is an ideal space for small meetings, classes or receptions, or as an auxiliary space for larger meetings and events. Users will enjoy use of the adjacent, garden-level Courtyard. This room also features a dedicated entrance from street level for those who desire a self-contained event.

Dawn Terrace

2300 square feet
Up to 150 guests, depending on set-up.

Adjacent to the Entrance Hall, Dawn Terrace overlooks the corner of Washington Street and the Berry Street bridge over the Napa River. Features include a will-call/check-in booth, areas to gather and sit, and an outdoor fireplace, all in the shade of mature London Plane trees. Dawn Terrace is the perfect spot for an outdoor event or ceremony.

Entrance Hall

957 square feet
Up to 150 guests, depending on set-up.

This bustling hub will serve as a pre-function gathering or stand-alone reception space, welcoming guests to Brannan Center. Features include a fireplace and 3 sets of glass doors opening to the Dawn Terrace, making it a perfect indoor-outdoor space.

Rosie’s Kitchen

678 square feet

Rosie’s Kitchen, named after beloved Calistoga restaurateur, Rosie Dunsford, and developed in conjunction with alumni of the Culinary Institute of America, serves as the catering area for Brannan Center activities and events, as well as hosting culinary classes. Overhead cameras and HD screens will support teacher-student interaction, with imagery viewable on a nearby room's large screen or streamed live to local networks.

Brannan Center offers a wide range of spaces at affordable rates with generous discounts available for non-profit organizations. Check back soon for rate information and rental policies.
